Experience and Responsibility
As a StrongFirst Team Leader, Kenneth helps uphold the organization’s standards for technical excellence, effective coaching and professional instruction. He is also licensed to teach the StrongFirst ALL-Terrain Conditioning Course.
His programming draws on principles from Plan Strong, Built Strong and Strong Endurance. This allows him to develop individual training plans that balance performance, durability and progress over time.

Coaching for Different Demands
Kenneth has worked with teenagers, corporate executives, police officers, military personnel, endurance athletes and professional athletes. Whatever a client’s background, the work begins with the same question: what capabilities does this person need, and how can they be developed safely and clearly?
His main areas of work include kettlebell training, individual strength and endurance programming, preparation for outdoor and mountain adventures, strength training for triathletes and preparation for StrongFirst certifications.

A Practical View of Training
Kenneth’s own path began with wrestling and continued through military service and decades of strength and endurance training. He now spends much of his free time hiking, backpacking and mountaineering. Those experiences shape how he coaches: technique should be understandable, programs should fit the individual, and strength should prove useful beyond the training floor.

What Students Say
Kenneth has been my training coach for almost three years. Under his guidance, I’ve improved enormously. My strength, endurance, general fitness, and even my mobility have all improved throughout the program. Best of all, I’ve made this progress without overuse or injury. Kenneth always emphasizes correct technique, coaches me closely, and explains why it matters.
The training program is well thought out, professional, and varied!
During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was especially valuable that my training could continue online. That was great!
Thank you, Kenneth, for your extraordinary commitment. Please keep it up!
I started working with Kenneth in December 2020 because I wanted to learn proper double kettlebell jerk technique.
After our first online coaching session, he showed me that we needed to work on my basics first. We started with swings and Turkish get-ups (TGUs), dialed in my cleans and presses, and are now approaching snatches. I’m so happy with my progress, and I’ve realized that I never really mastered the basics. After improving my swing technique, I can generate much more power and feel very confident doing them.
Five months into working together, we’ve had several online sessions, and I can send him videos whenever I need a form check. He has also programmed my training during this time.
My results have been amazing: my form on swings, get-ups, and cleans has improved. I can feel how much more power I generate. I’m stronger, my endurance has improved, and I’ve lost about three pounds of fat. As a police officer working mainly on patrols and anti-drug missions, I need to be in good shape. Sometimes I need to be fast, but I also need strength and endurance. Kenneth has helped me improve all of those qualities, and I look forward to further progress.
When my snatch form is ready, we can move on to single and double kettlebell jerks. Kenneth has taught me to enjoy the process and trust that my goals will follow without forcing things or stressing too much. I’m no longer in a hurry.
I recommend Kenneth to beginners and advanced trainees alike. Get your form checked and enjoy the process!
I’ve been training with Kenneth since 2018. I used to be a professional triathlete, and Kenneth has really helped me improve my core strength in a sustainable way. I love the training because it’s so versatile, and I’ve developed an exceptional level of trust in his methods. That trust is especially important when you’re a professional athlete.
Whether you want to get off the couch or make it to the next Olympic Games, Kenneth is the right coach for you!
I’ve been training with Kenneth since 2018. I’m a long-distance triathlete, and my goal was to build a stronger core and more strength overall. Training at other gyms hadn’t brought the results I wanted. Kenneth focused on teaching me the basics first, and only after I had mastered the technique did he let me progress to heavier weights. I’ve stayed injury-free.
Since then, I’ve made major gains in strength, and they’ve carried over to my swimming, cycling, and running. Swim sessions that used to tire me out now feel “easy,” and I recover quickly, too. Kenneth has also made sure I can fit strength work into my overall training plan. Trusting the process and being consistent are key!
You can tell Kenneth has years of experience in sports and coaching. He’s very professional, and I enjoy training with him. I’m looking forward to getting even stronger.
As an added bonus, under Kenneth’s guidance, I earned my SFG I in 2022!
I’ve worked with Kenneth for a year. He coaches me online, helping me improve my technique and providing advanced, individualized programming.
Kenneth lives and breathes StrongFirst principles. He has deep, wide-ranging knowledge of StrongFirst skills. He stays in touch with StrongFirst leadership, so his recommendations and training principles come firsthand.
Beyond being StrongFirst Elite, a few things set him apart:
1. His attention to detail is mind-boggling. He’s always looking for ways to help his students improve.
2. He has extensive experience with endurance athletes and fully understands the role of aerobic endurance training in a training plan.
3. He walks the talk.
Training was not, is not, and will not be a goal. It is a path. Kenneth makes a great companion along the way.
I trained with Kenneth in person, and he introduced me to StrongFirst-style kettlebell techniques. Before that, I’d been teaching myself through YouTube.
He was great at guiding me through the finer points of technique and challenging me to do better. When a pre-existing knee injury flared up, he seamlessly adjusted the training to work around it.
He’s a great teacher and an all-around cool guy. I can absolutely recommend him.
Kenneth is a great instructor with a good eye for detail. His programs gave me a strong foundation that helped me achieve the “Sinister” challenge.
I first met Kenneth in person when he led the All-Terrain Conditioning seminar in Darmstadt, Germany, in February 2025. The course content was superb, and Kenneth’s teaching was absolutely first-class. I left with several ideas I could immediately put to use in my own training and in coaching others.
At the end of the seminar, Kenneth very kindly offered me the opportunity to be a test subject for Kettlebell EXIMIUS, an experimental protocol of his. Alongside this, he’s given me tremendous technique coaching for my snatches. The progress I’ve made in a relatively short time has been remarkable, and I’m grateful for the impact of his support. His communication style and personality have made learning seamless and highly enjoyable.
Kenneth’s attention to detail is astonishing. He has a fantastic ability to break a student’s technique into small, manageable pieces that lead to major improvements.
If you’re wondering whether Kenneth’s methods and coaching can help you, I can assure you the answer is yes.
